Green Office News: ‘Climate Change to increase food costs’ claims recent report

According to a recent report titled ‘Extreme Weather, Extreme Prices’, climate change is expected to increase the price of food globally as climate change has affected major crops worldwide. Drought and flooding has affected wheat and maize harvests and charity Oxfam has claimed that the ‘full impact’ of climate change on food prices is ‘underestimated’ and will affect British consumers.
