New wind farms to be built in Scotland

Two new wind farms will be built in Scotland and will have the capacity to supply green energy to more than 150000 homes.

The farms will be run by Scottish Power Renewables and by cutting the red ribbon, the company will have 1GW of renewable energy capacity in the UK, including Europe’s largest onshore wind farm, Whitelee, near Glasgow.

Speaking of the farms first minister Alex Salmond said “We will continue to work with the industry and with communities across Scotland to seize the opportunities as we move increasingly offshore to harness our unrivalled wind, wave and tidal resources and develop our considerable carbon capture and storage capacity”.

Wiles Greenworld, London’s green office supplies distributor which has been helping businesses green their office was been recently invited to support Governmental bodies develop green programs. The environmental consultancy is scheduled to take place over the next few months.
