Wiles Greenworld supports Perivale Woodland Trust

Wiles Greenworld, your Green Office Supplier, is proud to announce that we started supporting the Perivale Wood, run by The Selbourne Society.

At Wiles Greenworld we put a lot of focus on Sustainability and our Corporate Responsibility. That is why we are always looking for new opportunities to make a positive impact on the environment and the society.

Perivale Wood is an ancient woodland owned and managed by The Selbourne Society, one of the oldest nature society’s in the world.

Just behind Perivale station the wood encompasses 19 acres of mainly oak woodland, old pasture, a marsh, a stream and five ponds, together representing several types of habitat in a relatively small area. It was declared a statutory local nature reserve in 1974.

A new education programme at Perivale Wood has been with the aim of bringing local inner city school groups to engage pupils in valuing nature and recognising the potential impacts of climate change.

Wiles Greenworld chose to support this environmental initiative due to the long-term benefits associated with hands-on environmental education.

We are proud to help children who are predominantly from urban areas to get the opportunity to have new experiences in a natural environment, appreciating it and understand the effects climate change has on it.

Wiles Greenworld’s sustainability team also helps our clients have an Environmental Office by offering environmental consultancy.
