Wiles Greenworld is named Britain’s greenest office supplies company and second greenest organisation in the country

Last night (Thursday 9thth May) The Sunday Times held its annual Best Green Companies event in which the publication recognises outstanding companies that have gone above and beyond their duty to minimise environmental impact and operate more sustainably.

The event, held at The Sunday Times London offices saw companies big and small from a number of industries come together to celebrate their achievements in carbon reduction and waste minimisation.

As is now customary sixty companies were recognised during the event. Retail giant Masks and Spencer was awarded 19th position while The Co-Operative took third place. Wiles Greenworld, who has been listed for the third year running took second place.

Expressing his delight for the achievement, our Sustainable Development Director Mr Toby Robins stated “This is testament to all our hard work”. There are many reasons why Wiles Greenworld truly is Britain’s greenest office supplies distributor. Whether you consider the free of charge recycling service offered to all customers, 10% year on year carbon reduction, the consultancy service or the green office supplies which make up 40% of product offerings, the company really has gone above and beyond its duty to minimise its carbon footprint.
