Scientists working on making wind farms more efficient

Scientists have been able to develop what could be a more efficient design of wind farms, which mimics a school of fish.

According to research published in the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy and conducted by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), by using wind turbines with a vertical axis, they are more efficient in a wind farm array.
