Plenty of ‘eco-friendly and economical’ company car choice in 2010

There is lots of choice for London businesses looking for an economic and environmental company car for employees.

WhatGreenCar has published a top ten list of the most innovative cars due for launch in 2010, selecting the Peugeot iOn electric and Nissan LEAF electric for the top two spots, which qualify for full road tax and London Congestion Charge concessions.

In addition to improved sustainability, businesses can also take advantage of road tax, company car and London Congestion Charge incentives often offered by manufacturers.

Managing editor of WhatGreenCar Dr Ben Lane said: “While it may be confusing for consumers trying to choose a new car, with so many technologies on offer, there’s no doubt that manufacturers are fully engaged with the challenge of designing, and more importantly selling, greener and ultra-green cars.”

In November, WhatGreenCar named the Toyota Prius its Car of the Year for 2010, offering 89g/km – a five per cent improvement over the 2009 model.ADNFCR-2805-ID-19555608-ADNFCR
