Investment in clean tech should be incentivised

According to sustainability advisors, more incentives are needed to encourage investment in clean technology business.

Issues of renewable energy have apparently hit a wall, as people see little incentive and need to invest in the sector. Therefore the benefits of renewable energy and sustainability need to be voiced and spread clearly amongst individuals and especially companies which will produce more energy efficient offices.

These comments come after a survey conducted showing that only 13% think conditions needed for success in the clean tech sector will be present in 2011, compared to 38% in a similar survey conducted last autumn. Also a fall of 10% was seen in the respondent numbers who believed clean tech investment will increase this year.
