Green Office News: UK Water Companies announce house pipe bans affecting 20million households

UK Utility providers, Thames Water, Southern Water, South East Water, Anglian Water, Sutton and East Surrey, Thames Water, Veolia South East and Veolia Central have announced house pipe bans which are due to commence of the 5th of April this year. Individuals caught breaking this ban by using house pipes, filling paddling pools or using sprinklers face risking a £1000 fine. This ban follows reports from the environment agency claiming that East Anglia and the South East are in drought after two dry winters.

Despite these bans being tough on UK households it is estimated that by taking action now will help us all in the future.
