Green Office News: ‘UK Space agency Chief Executive to step down to join CSIRO’

Dr David Williams who is CEO of the UK Space Agency is due to step down later this year to commence a job with Australians Science organisation CSIRO. His replacement will be expected to develop a national space policy whilst continuing to work closely with the space industry, accelerate growth in this industry as well as adhere to the economic targets agreed with the government. According to the space Innovation and Growth Strategy Report the space industry is set to create 100,000 new jobs and is to be a £40bn industry by 2030.
