Green Office News: Our new landscape (possibly, but hopefully not)

This link shows exactly what happens when an appetite for fossil fuels gets out of control. The picture was taken from a plane flying over the state of Texas, USA, and shows hundreds of patches etched into the earth.

The worst thing is all these patches aren’t natural; they are all made by drilling and searching for gas.

We think going to these lengths in search of fuel sources that will cause further climate change is non-sensical. Why damage the landscape in search for fuels that will cause even further damage?

It’s not as if the solutions of renewable power are beyond us either? In fact far from it, just look at this new solar power plant in California.

Closer to home, 2014 is going to be the year we get our own solar array installed, helping to reduce our carbon footprint still further.
