Green Office News: Green roofs? It sounds like Paris is the place for you.

A sustainable project we’re considering for the future is the introduction of a green or living roof for our building, and an article that we came across today proclaims that Paris is the place to go.

The largest green roof yet has just recently been opened and is the size of an entire football stadium, while the rest of the city has been coated to the tune of over one quarter of all available roof space!

Green roofs are a great example of sustainability in action. Utilising redundant space whilst creating a habitat for birds, insects and carbon soaking plants will most definitely deliver air quality and carbon reduction benefits, and also help drainage systems by reducing rain water run off.

Green Office Tip: A green roof is viable for a great number of city offices. Investigate yours today.
