Environmental company spreading the message through education

Being a green company in 2011 is not easy, especially when operating in the private sector. However, one example-setting organisation has found a balance between the pursuit of profit and environmental consideration. This company is called Wiles Greenworld which is known as London’s green office supplies distributor with a zero waste to landfill policy.

The company has achieved enormous reductions in carbon emissions thanks to its stance of environmental consideration. Having already been recognised as an industry leader through a plethora of environmental accreditations and awards the company’s new strategy is to increase environmental awareness through education.

In the last few months the company’s Sustainable Development Director has been invited as a guest speaker at Brunel University in West London and has been getting involved with a number of primary schools to help them become greener and spread the message. In addition, the company has recruited five work placement students and graduates to ensure that the message reaches industry veterans as well as newcomers.
