Citroen gears up for festival of green cars

Citroen has signed up to appear at the Eco Velocity motor show, organisers revealed yesterday. The French car giant will showcase its green credentials with a range of vehicles on display at the event in September, including its all-electric city car, the C-Zero.

Visitors will be able to drive three of the six Citroen cars in the only interactive demonstration of the latest electric, hybrid and low-CO2 cars in Britain. As well as the C-Zero, the manufacturer will also display micro-hybrid e-HDi versions of the DS3, DS4 and news CS4 cars.

Eco Velocity, run by IMIE – organisers of the British Motors Show – and supported by Metro, will also display green cars from Fiat, Honda and Mia Electric from September 8 to 11 at Battersea Powered Station in south London.
