China and USA join Paris climate agreement

According to BBC, last weekend China and USA have both joined the Paris global climate agreement. Together they are both responsible for 40% of the world’s carbon emissions, which are the driving force behind climate change.

The Paris climate conference was held in December 2015, where 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal. The agreement sets out a global action plan in order to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to below 2°C.

There is now growing pressure on the UK to ratify the agreement.

There are various ways to reduce Carbon Footprint globally. Some of them include increasing solar and wind electricity capacity, reducing waste, switching from coal electric plants to natural gas-powered facilities and increasing ethanol production.

At Wiles Greenworld, Green Office Suppliers London, we try to encourage Carbon Reduction in our Environmental Office. One of the ways for us was by installing solar panels on the roof of our building. We also offer Free Recycling Service to our clients in order to help them have a Green Office.
