Business organisations influencing minds through education

BusinessGreen has announced a series of autumn Sustainable Business Lectures, confirming the dates for two lectures that will offer green executives an invaluable guide to the sustainability policies all firms should deploy.

The Green Business Checklist lectures will explore eight corporate sustainability policies all businesses should have in place: carbon and energy management, water management, green travel, biodiversity, waste management, renewable energy, green supply chain, and green marketing.

The first lecture will take place on Thursday 29 September and will explore effective carbon, water, travel and biodiversity policies.

Wiles Greenworld, the London-based office supplies distributor which offers an extensive range of green stationery supplies and environmental consultancy to help customers run an energy efficient office has also been engaging in green lectures. In June 2011, Toby Robins, the company’s Sustainable Development Director was invited by Brunel University as a guest speaker to discuss sustainability in business. Furthermore, the director will be giving a talk on sustainability at an IEMA event. Check back soon for more details of Toby’s discussion and to find out how you can attend.
