Astra improves economies- eco news

Britain’s second bestselling car has made a push to improve economy and emissions. Vauxhall had added start stop technology to its 2.0 litre diesel model, improved the claimed mpg to 62.8 and cut CO2 emissions to 119g/km.

The move means the model drops its company car tax band to 13% and private buyers will pay just £30 annual road tax.

Vauxhall has also installed its Cleantech Combustion Technology, reducing engine noise and giving cleaner engine combustion.

This shows that become greener not only has a positive effect on the environment but can also save you money.
